Video recruiting tools have become valuable marketing assets in the competitive landscape of academic enrollment. At Assumption High School in Louisville, Kentucky, the value of video was realized in 2011 when we created their first recruitment piece.
Fast forward six years, and the need to attract students is stronger than ever. Working local agency, Maverick, we created an engaging, interactive, and shareable video using a 360 degree video format. In order to include the over 800 students into the video, we had to film during a school day – but were only allotted 1.5hrs, with no rehearsals.
A week after it launched, views on Facebook reached over 40,000 with hundreds of shares and likes. Thumbs up!
